What will I find on this site?

From our home page, you can:
  • download demos of our CD-ROM;

  • jump to our search engine and find all the resources listed in the Alternate Sources directory and CD-ROM;

  • find out more about our publications (you'll find descriptions, reviews, samples, prices, and ordering information);

  • learn more about the Safer SM seminars put on by the AIDS Committee of Toronto;

  • check out our advertising rates;

  • send us your comments, updates to our data, and other feedback. Please take a few seconds to fill out our web surfer questionnaire when you send us comments. Thanks;

  • get retailer information about the wholesale costs of our products and information about how to contact our distributors;

Do I have to pay for information at this site?

  • No. All of the information you get over the Internet from our pages is free for your own personal use. You may not resell or distribute it.

    Copyright dictates that you can't go copying our pages without our consent.
    All of our pages are copyrighted. See our disclaimer available from our home page; there endeth the legalese.

Why would I want to buy the paperback or the CD-ROM if I can get the information here?

  • Because this site will show you a part of what's available in the paperback and the CD-ROM, but not all of it. You will find the search engine useful, but there is far more and detailed information in the paperback and CD-ROM, and, in many ways, they are much easier to use.

    Just click on the $ (Purchase) button on our catalogue page.

Where can I buy your products?

  • From this web site under the $ (Purchase / Pricing) button in the catalogue page, or from your local book shop or adult toy shop. If you can't find it, locally (even using our database search engine), contact us. We'll find a way for you to get what you want.

How do I advertise at this Web site or in the paperback directory?

  • Just click on the advertising button on our catalogue page. All will be revealed....

Why can't I get detailed information all in one place?

  • Because this site will show you a part of what's available in the paperback and the CD-ROM, but not all of it. You will find the search engine useful, but there is far more and detailed information in the paperback and CD-ROM, and, in many ways, they are much easier to use.

    You wouldn't throw your baby away with the bath water, would you?
    Neither would we. ;-)

Can I submit a listing in the next edition?

  • Absolutely. Use the "Add" button from the Search page. Fill in all the information you want published and information that will let us get in contact with you. The more information you give us, the larger your listing in the directory

Does it cost to have a listing in Alternate Sources?

  • No. Listing your business or organization is completely free. To submit your listing, use the "Add" button from the search page.

I found an error. Whom should I tell?

  • Tell us. Please. We have set up a feedback page (available from our home page) for just that reason. You can submit updates for the search engine, the paperback, and the CD-ROM from there.

How do I contact WholeSM Publishing?

  • Use the feedback button on our home page. You'll find several ways to contact us.

I like your site, but I don't want my children stopping by for a visit. How do I do this?

  • We support the idea that everyone should be able to express an opinion on the Internet and elsewhere. Without that, reasoned discussion cannot take place.

    We also understand that many parents have computers at home connected to the Web, and that these parents may want to avoid exposing their children to certain aspects of life until the children are ready for them. We suggest that these parents take a look at products such as these:

    While the above should not be taken as an endorsement of these products, they may help you achieve your parental objectives.
